Job Summary
Diagnose vehicles according to appropriate certifications and perform multi-point inspections and repairs with efficiency and accuracy. Explain technical findings to non-mechanical staff and customers, recommend necessary services to maintain vehicle condition, and document all recommendations in customer files. Adhere to safety procedures, report concerns to management, and maintain ASE certifications and renewals. Work five days per week in a family-owned auto service specializing in tires, brakes, suspension, and engine diagnostics.
Required Qualifications
- Experienced senior automotive technician
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Possess valid driver's license
- Ability to work five days per week
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer a minimum of one unexpired ASE or equivalent experience or training
