Senior Automotive Systems Engineer (ASPICE)

Job Summary
Take ownership of systems engineering activities across the complete automotive development lifecycle, translating customer and stakeholder needs into structured requirements. Contribute to and develop system architectures for complex sensing and electronic systems while ensuring traceability between requirements, implementation, and verification. Work closely with Embedded Software, Electronics, Testing, Quality, and Project Management teams to resolve system-level challenges. Support the implementation of Automotive SPICE processes and identify opportunities to automate engineering processes and improve toolchains. Act as a technical interface across multiple disciplines to influence systems engineering methods and best practices. This role offers end-to-end visibility on products for major global automotive players, with flexible hybrid working arrangements and opportunities to participate financially in business success.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics or a comparable technical discipline
- Several years of professional experience in Automotive Systems Engineering
- Strong experience with Requirements Engineering
- Good understanding of System Architecture and complex embedded/electronic systems
- Practical knowledge of Automotive SPICE / ASPICE
- Experience working across the V-model / V-cycle within automotive product development
- Comfortable collaborating across Software, Hardware, Verification, Quality and Project teams
- Strong communication skills combined with a genuinely holistic systems-thinking mindset
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with automotive sensors, ECUs, embedded systems, environmental sensing, vehicle electronics or similar technologies
