Job Summary
Senior Automation Test Engineer (Test Lead) responsible for executing testing activities, collaborating with developers and stakeholders to deliver a high-quality product, automating functional, regression and performance tests, enhancing end-to-end automated test coverage, and participating in sprint planning with the Scrum team. Requires hands-on automation testing with frameworks like Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Katalon; API/UI testing; load testing; 5+ years of experience; strong English; SDLC and Agile knowledge; onsite in Da Nang, Vietnam with opportunities for onsite short/long-term assignments abroad as described.
Required Qualifications
- At least an intermediate skill level of English.
- 5+ years of experience in automation testing with strong web or mobile app testing expertise
- Hands-on experience in automation testing
- 2+ years of experience with testing frameworks like Katalon, Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, Cypress using Groovy, Java, JavaScript, etc.
- Proficiency in developing automated tests for API, UI automation, web and mobile applications.
- Experience with tools: Postman, Git, IntelliJ IDEA, soapUI, cURL, fetch, etc.
- Experience in load testing and performance testing tools (K6, JMeter, WebLOAD, NeoLoad) is a plus
- Nice to have: Proficient daily use of AI coding tools across the full SDLC
- Ability to decompose complex tasks, provide context, and multi-step prompting workflows
- Experience with AI-driven development frameworks
- Awareness of emerging AI tools and willingness to evaluate new capabilities
