Job Summary
Design, develop, commission, and support industrial automation solutions for manufacturing and process industries by working directly with customers to deliver complete projects from concept through startup. Lead technical discussions, troubleshoot complex systems, and assist during commissioning and startup phases using strong experience with Siemens PCS 7 DCS, process control, instrumentation, and industrial networking. Read electrical schematics, loop diagrams, P&IDs, and control narratives while maintaining technical excellence and customer satisfaction. Requires 5+ years of industrial automation experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline. Valid driver's license and ability to travel are necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related technical discipline (or equivalent automation experience)
- 5+ years of industrial automation experience
- 5+ years of hands-on Siemens PCS 7 engineering experience
- Process control
- Instrumentation
- PID control loops
- Batch and continuous processes
- Experience with industrial networking and communication protocols
- Ability to read electrical schematics, loop diagrams, P&IDs, and control narratives
- Strong troubleshooting skills in live manufacturing environments
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel

- Route Control
- Safety Integrated Systems
- Experience with Siemens Plant Automation Accelerator (PAA)
- Knowledge of virtualization platforms and server architecture
- Cybersecurity experience in industrial control systems
- Experience integrating MES, historians, or SCADA platforms
- Familiarity with Rockwell PlantPaX, DeltaV, Ignition, or AVEVA System Platform
- ISA Certified Automation Professional (CAP) or Siemens certifications
