Job Summary
Senior Automation Software Tester leading QA strategy for Mirantis Secure Registry (MSR) on Kubernetes and cloud-native environments. Architect test frameworks and infrastructure for validating microservices and multi-cluster workloads; drive scalable test automation integrated with CI/CD; champion chaos and performance testing; provide mentorship and act as QA authority in design reviews and production readiness; collaborate across devops and engineering teams to improve monitoring, alerting, and test coverage across distributed systems in multi-cloud environments.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in software testing or quality engineering
- 4+ years focused on Kubernetes, cloud-native applications, and distributed systems
- leadership experience in building and scaling test strategies
- proficiency with Kubernetes internals, Helm, service meshes, RBAC
- strong scripting/automation (Python, Pytest, Bash)
- experience with CI/CD tooling
- experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger)
- cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Linux proficiency
- communication skills for executive audiences
- mentorship of junior QA engineers
