Job Summary
Senior Automation QA Engineer (Python) responsible for supporting and improving test automation for the backend of a CCaaS solution. Responsibilities include identifying and troubleshooting defects, validating new features to ensure system stability and scalability, and ensuring compatibility with evolving product functionality. The role requires testing across backend, API, and microservices, with experience in Python (and JavaScript a plus), cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure), version control, bug-tracking, and test management. Familiarity with UNIX/Linux, databases (MySQL or similar), and basic log analysis is expected. Desirable skills include Java programming concepts, security protocol awareness (OWASP, PCI), and experience with high-volume transactional systems. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in software testing or QA
- Experience with programming concepts and scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript (Nice to have)
- Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
- Knowledge of version control, bug-tracking, and test management systems
- Experience in back-end testing, API testing, or microservices testing
- Troubleshooting and analytical skills, basic log analysis
- Practical experience with databases (MySQL or similar)
- Basic knowledge of UNIX/Linux
