Job Summary
Senior Automation QA Engineer (Python) to join our team and help test the backend of a CCaaS solution. responsibilities include optimizing and expanding test automation, identifying and troubleshooting defects, validating new features for stability, scalability, and compatibility with evolving product functionality. Requires 5+ years in software QA, strong Python skills, experience with cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure), API/back-end/microservices testing, databases (MySQL), UNIX/Linux, and familiarity with version control and bug-tracking systems. Desirable: Java, OWASP/PCI awareness, and experience with high-volume transactional systems. Remote work enabled; relocation program offered.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in software testing or QA
- Experience with programming concepts and scripting languages such as Python (JavaScript nice to have)
- Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
- Knowledge of version control, bug-tracking, and test management systems
- Experience in back-end testing, API testing, or microservices testing
- Troubleshooting and analytical skills, basic log analysis
- Basic knowledge of UNIX/Linux
- Desirable skills: Experience with programming concepts and scripting in Java
- Basic understanding of security protocols (OWASP, PCI Compliance)
- Experience with high-volume transactional systems is a plus
