Job Summary
Uncover inefficient, manual, or unclear processes across engineering, product, operations, and customer-facing teams. Transform ambiguous business problems into well-designed, scalable automated workflows by selecting the right tools, ranging from TypeScript and Python to LLMs, agentic systems, and low-code platforms like Zapier. Design, build, test, and operate reliable automation and AI-enabled services while applying quality gates, guardrails, and human oversight. Own solutions throughout their lifecycle, including documentation, observability, support, and continuous improvement. Evaluate emerging models and approaches based on practical benefits and trade-offs. Share knowledge to help other engineers and teams adopt effective automation practices.
Required Qualifications
- strong commercial experience with TypeScript or Python
- willingness to learn whichever language is less familiar to you
- experience writing or using agentic harnesses for software development
- understanding of how to assess different orchestration approaches
- understanding of the current frontier LLM landscape
- knowledge of LLM applications in software engineering
- knowledge of LLM challenges including hallucination, prompt injection, privacy, cost and latency
- comfort choosing the right tool for the job
- ability to use low-code platforms such as Zapier or Microsoft Power Platform
