Job Summary
Install windshields and auto glass in shop or mobile operations, calibrate ADAS systems, and repair glass damage. Interact with customers to ensure satisfaction, process payments from mobile clients, and maintain a professional appearance. Read technical specifications, manage automotive tools, and lift up to 50 pounds while maneuvering around vehicles. Work in various weather conditions with telematics monitoring for driving safety. Requires 2+ years of automotive glass installation experience, a valid driver's license, and proficiency in glass repair techniques.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ Year(s) of automotive glass installation experience
- Must have a valid driver's license and ability to pass MVR check
- Proficiency in managing and working with several types of automotive glass
- Strong knowledge of auto mechanic tools, equipment, and techniques used in glass repair and replacement
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications
- Strong customer experience skills
- Excellent critical thinking skills and diligence
- Must be over 18 years of age
- Must be able to perform the physical demands of the job
- Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to maneuver around vehicles to position yourself safely during installations
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time
- Must be able to perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
