Job Summary
The Senior Auditor will lead and manage audit engagements specifically for non-profit organizations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and mentoring junior staff.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- CPA license or actively pursuing CPA certification (within 12 months).
- Minimum of 3–5 years of recent experience in public accounting, with significant experience performing external audits.
- Demonstrated experience auditing non-profit organizations is mandatory.
- Experience with Single Audits (Uniform Guidance) and Yellow Book audits is a significant plus.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
Desired Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and other relevant accounting and auditing pronouncements.
- Proficiency with audit software (e.g., CCH ProSystem fx Engagement, CaseWare) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Proficiency with Quickbooks Enterprise, Quickbooks Online, and Sage/Peachtree.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
