Job Summary
Senior Auditor: Construction responsible for conducting advanced audits of a complex nature across multiple tax types and entities, providing technical support to other auditors, and leveraging tax, corporate and legislative knowledge to identify tax gaps, avoidance and evasion schemes. The role involves analysing data, communicating findings to committees, engaging with Debt Management, and contributing to policy and procedure enhancements while ensuring compliance with Acts, Regulations, Policies and SOPs. The position requires preparing inputs and reports for internal and external stakeholders, and presenting technical guidance to audit teams. The role emphasizes governance, risk identification, and continuous learning as part of delivering authoritative, specialist services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree / Advanced Diploma (NQF 7 or higher) in Audit/Tax/Finance
- 6 years' experience in a Corporate Tax environment including 4 years of audit experience in the primary tax types (with strong focus on CIT)
- Applicable professional registration: SAICA, SAIT, CFA, ACCA, SAIPA, ACFE, LPC
