Job Summary

Senior Auditor responsible for general auditing and accounting services to support fraud investigations involving complex financial transactions and organizations. Develop, coordinate, and draft technical audit guidelines; analyze bank records, wire transfers, ledgers, and healthcare claims data; conduct open-source intelligence and database research; design and run SQL queries and data models to detect anomalous patterns; extract and manipulate CMS data using tools such as OnePI, STARS, and Business Objects; prepare analytical memoranda, charts, and data visualizations; summarize transaction histories and flag suspicious activities; provide recommendations to assistant client attorneys and assist with investigative planning and strategy; collaborate with attorneys and investigators to refine leads and develop best practices for healthcare fraud detection.

Required Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree minimum
  • CPA or MBA equivalent
  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant
  • MBA or equivalent in accounting or related field
  • Thorough knowledge of GAAP and GAAS
  • Minimum five years’ experience as an auditor; minimum three years specialized experience in subject matter (e.g., Medicare billing and claims systems or DoD inventory systems)
  • Extensive working knowledge of ADP systems and applications
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must be a United States citizen
  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
