Senior Audit Manager

Job Summary
Lead large/complex audits and thematic reviews across markets, owning and driving the SOX testing strategy at market/segment level. Build senior stakeholder relationships, oversee multiple engagements, ensure quality and timely delivery, and guide audit teams in preparing and presenting materials. Leverage data analytics techniques and tools (including Python) to improve audit effectiveness and efficiency, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Role requires global collaboration within Manulife’s Audit and Advisory Services, with exposure to diverse audit strategies across insurance and asset management, and regional experience in Asia. A university degree is required with 10+ years of relevant audit/risk/compliance experience; fluency in English and proven leadership capabilities are essential. Flexibility to operate in a Hybrid working arrangement in Quezon City, Philippines.
Required Qualifications
- A university degree is required
- Minimum of 10 years or above of relevant experience in internal or external audit, risk management, compliance, SOX compliance or equivalent business experience in Financial Services industry
- For IT Auditors, experience in IT controls and testing is a must
- Asia regional experience in Financial Services industry
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English
- Proven leadership skills and people management capabilities
- Ability to challenge the status quo and seek continuous improvement
- Proven relationship skills and the ability to collaborate with different business units and teams in a multi-cultural environment
- Ability to quickly understand business processes and risks, identify key controls, analyze complex situations, and make practical recommendations
- Results oriented; able to balance multiple priorities and projects
