Required Qualifications
- Doctorate of Jurisprudence (JD) or equivalent
- Indiana Bar Admission in good standing
- 5+ years of legal experience as a practicing attorney
- Strong knowledge of statutes, case law, and rules pertinent to disability rights, civil rights, education, health care, and employment
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Experience using a case management system to manage docket, case information, and parties
- Strong legal research and litigation writing skills
- Ability to recruit, train, and supervise staff or attorneys (leadership role)
- Ability to oversee contracts and provide legal advice related to agency operations
- Eligibility to work within Indiana and meet state employment requirements
