Job Summary
Oversee law office operations, establish firm structure, and direct case assignments within the Family Law Department. Manage a full caseload of family immigration and deportation defense cases by filing documents, conducting discovery, making court appearances, and trying cases while mentoring associate attorneys and paralegals. Coordinate training programs, enforce team values, and monitor case timelines to ensure client satisfaction goals are met. Requires a JD, Texas Bar admission, and bilingual English/Spanish proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Four-year bachelor's degree
- three-year law degree from an accredited law school
- At least 5 years of experience as an attorney within Family Law
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Experience with Case Management Software
- Active member of the TX State Bar and local bar associations
- Decision-making experience
- public speaking experience
- supervisory experience
- Advanced proficiency in computer skills and reviewing reports
