Job Summary
Senior ATM/CNS Systems SME provides senior technical leadership, systems engineering expertise, and design assurance for the ATM modernization program, ensuring CNS/ATM systems are planned, designed, integrated, validated, operationally suitable, and compliant with program, operational, safety, and regulatory requirements. Oversee the technical lifecycle of complex ATM/CNS systems and integrated platforms across live ATC facilities, coordinating design reviews (PDR, CDR), document reviews (SDD, ICD), and ensuring ICAO/GCAA compliance, cybersecurity and safety objectives, interoperability with external ATM environments, and lifecycle management from design through handover. Responsible for technical assurance, interface management, and operational readiness activities (FAT, SAT, SIT, ORAT), and for leading risk identification, issue resolution, and governance interactions. Requires extensive experience in ATM/CNS systems engineering, automation, surveillance, AIM/AMHS, and VCCS, with a focus on brownfield airport environments and regulatory frameworks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Avionics Engineering, ATM/CNS Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- Professional certifications in ATM systems, systems engineering, project management, or aviation technologies are advantageous.
