Job Summary
Architect, design, implement, and administer Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) to support enterprise workflow, collaboration, and reporting across a DoD-focused program. Responsibilities include configuring custom workflows, automation, and integrations with CI/CD/DevSecOps, designing dashboards, SAFe-aligned processes, system security/compliance, user onboarding, and maintaining documentation. Collaboration with government partners, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, production-ready Atlassian solutions with strong emphasis on reliability and governance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical discipline and 8 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree in a related field and 6 years of relevant experience
- Experience administering and configuring Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.)
- Experience designing workflows, dashboards, and automation within Jira and related platforms
- Experience integrating Atlassian tools with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps environments
- Experience with scripting or automation tools (e.g., Groovy, Python, REST APIs)
- Strong understanding of user permissions, access controls, and system performance management
- Experience in monitoring platform health, performing upgrades, and maintaining system reliability and security
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong documentation skills for system configurations, workflows, and user guides
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and align solutions with organizational processes and governance requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Active Secret clearance (preferred)
- Atlassian certifications (e.g., Jira Administrator, Atlassian Certified Professional) (preferred)
- Experience with cloud environments such as AWS GovCloud, SC2S AWS Secret Region Cloud, and C2S AWS Cloud (preferred)
