Job Summary
Senior Athletic Trainer floater provides athletic training services to NGPG Sports Medicine in high school, college, or clinic settings, including on-site assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of acute/chronic injuries, education, exercise conditioning, and school insurance policy management. The role involves collaboration with NGPG Sports Medicine Providers, education of student-athletes, liaison work between student athletes, school administration, and NGPG, and ensuring documentation, patient care, event coverage, budget management, and compliance with National Athletic Training Association guidelines and Georgia Athletic Trainer Licensure Act. Requires master’s degree, Georgia licensure and NATABOC certification, and professional BLS; minimum two years experience; heavy emphasis on independent practice across multiple settings and interdepartmental coordination.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure/certification in good standing with the State of Georgia and NATABOC
- Certified in professional BLS
- Master's degree in athletic training or related field
- Minimum of two years experience in athletic training
