Job Summary
Evaluate commercial benefits and risks of mergers and acquisitions, providing strategic advice on divestiture and execution. Participate in business valuations, intellectual property valuations, fairness opinions, financial modelling, and purchase price allocations. Provide IPO services including broker/banker selection and issue pricing. Conduct industry research on trends, valuation multiples, and precedent transactions. Prepare cash flows, valuation models, and technical analysis for merger, acquisition, and financing transactions. Lead engagement teams, coordinate project logistics, and mentor junior members while developing competitive proposals. Maintain flexibility to travel as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business (accounting or finance major)
- CPA designation
- Completion of, or working towards, a CBV designation
- 3 to 4 years of professional services experience, ideally in financial analysis and valuations
- Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary
