Job Summary
Senior Associate Transaction & Financial Communications in Amsterdam collaborates with project teams on strategic topics for national and international clients, focusing on M&A transactions, IPOs and realignments. You will help position companies and boards, advise on stakeholder and media relations, build relationships with local and global stakeholders, drive innovative communication formats, create internal/external documents, and support client acquisition and mandate development. The role emphasizes a combination of journalism/communications experience, investor relations, and financial-sector insight, with an expectation of excellent Dutch and English language skills and strong text and relationship-management abilities. The position offers flexible work arrangements (office and home) and opportunities to collaborate across FGS Global’s international network.
Required Qualifications
- Successful university studies with very good results
- Several years of relevant professional experience in journalism, communications, consulting, investor relations and/or other areas of the financial sector
- Fluency in Dutch and very good command of English
- High level of text competence and strong communication skills
- Good economic and political understanding, sound judgment, personal commitment
- Excellent people and project management skills, natural networker
- Basic understanding of listed company’s financials
