Senior Associate to Special Counsel, Commercial Litigation

Job Summary
Conduct commercial litigation for public and private corporations, government authorities, SMEs, and individuals across Australia, handling contractual disputes, Corporations Act matters, property disputes, defamation, and insolvency. Manage matters autonomously with meaningful client contact from day one, including regular appearances in State and Federal Courts. Engage directly with Partner Shane Williamson to build lasting client relationships through secondment opportunities while contributing to the team's growth. Requires 6 to 10+ years of experience in Commercial Litigation or Insolvency, strong academic credentials, and exceptional communication skills. Located in Brisbane.
Required Qualifications
- 6 to 10+ years' experience in a well-regarded Commercial Litigation and/or Insolvency practice
- Strong academic credentials
- Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Confident managing matters autonomously
- Enjoying direct client contact
- Contributing to a collaborative team environment
