Job Summary
Lead complex projects, transactions, and strategic initiatives within the Education sector, ensuring exceptional client service and effective matter management. Advise clients on corporate transactions, mergers, and acquisitions while supervising and mentoring junior colleagues to foster high performance. Drive profitability by monitoring performance, managing budgets, and recording chargeable time accurately. Generate new business through networking, thought leadership, and pitching to prestigious independent schools and educational organizations. Collaborate across teams to deliver integrated advice and maintain the highest standards of technical excellence and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- relevant experience working on corporate or education M&A transactions
- an interest in Education law and Independent Schools
- Experience of supervision and development of other team members
- Previous experience of pro-active business development and marketing
- ability to demonstrate generation of new revenue streams
- ability to promote the firm and cross-sell other specialisms internally and externally
- attending seminars and networking events
- presenting workshops to the firm's client
- being involved in pitches/tenders
- Candidates should be well-organised
