Job Summary
Communicate effectively with external Issuers, Legal Counsels, and internal departments regarding warrant exercises, expirations, and accelerations. Process physical warrant exercises and employee option exercises for US resident clients, including legend removals under Rule 904 and Rule 144. Prepare wire transfers to Issuers and track payments for Transfer Agent fees. Maintain monthly SLA statistics for Legend Removals and Estates, and provide backup processing for physical certificate deposits and withdrawals in CDS, DTC, and with foreign custodians. Respond to client and broker inquiries regarding operations functions in a timely manner. Prioritize a complex workload, work overtime as required, and perform additional projects as assigned. Maintain openness to cross-training within the Securities Services Department.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of securities industry experience
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and within a team
- Hard-working, positive, dedicated and prepared to work overtime when necessary
- Strong level of MS Outlook, Excel and Word
- Ability to prioritize and manage a complex workload
- Must be able to work overtime as required
- Proof of citizenship, permanent residence or eligibility to work in Canada with no restrictions
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience handling physical stock certificates, warrants, and DRS
- Previous experience working with US Legend Removals (Rule 904 & Rule 144)
- Familiarity with Dataphile and/or NETX360
