Job Summary
Senior Associate Scientist I in Biochemical Analysis responsible for testing biologics samples under cGMP, participating in method transfer/validation, drafting methods and analytical reports, and performing laboratory analyses using HPLC/UPLC, electrophoresis, and spectroscopy. Will follow SOPs, ensure accurate documentation, perform peer review of notebooks, operate lab equipment safely, and contribute to quality and compliance in a fast-paced pharmaceutical development environment at the Kansas City Catalent facility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences or Physical Science with 2+ years of relevant experience, OR Master’s degree in Life Sciences or Physical Science (no experience required)
- Experience in a laboratory environment with analytical techniques (HPLC/UPLC, electrophoresis, spectroscopy, etc.)
- Knowledge of cGMP regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
