Job Summary
Prepare federal and state tax returns for corporate and partnership entities, including Forms 1065 and 1120, while managing multiple concurrent assignments of varying complexity. Utilize CCH Axcess, Prosystem Fx Engagement, and Gofile room to process provisions, supported by strong Excel skills and tax research tools like Checkpoint. Collaborate effectively with team members and managers in an office setting, adapting to flexible hours during key client meetings or busy seasons. A Bachelor's degree in accounting is required, with three years of US Corporate tax experience, while preferred qualifications include a Master's degree, CPA/EA status, and real estate industry knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- A minimum of 3 or more years of experience in US Corporate tax
- Proficient in CCH Axcess, Prosystem Fx Engagement, Gofile room
- Experience in Preparing federal tax returns – Partnership or Corporate returns (Form 1065, Form 1120)
- Team orientation and strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Willing to work in the office with team members and managers
- Problem solving skills and able to work independently successfully
- Able to work flexible hours when key client or team meetings are needed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in accounting, or related field is preferred
- EA, CPA, CPA candidate, CA or CA candidate, CMA or CMA candidate
- Knowledge/experience of Real Estate industry along with knowledge in Tax Journal entries & knowledge Tax adjustments
- Strong knowledge of excel and formula usage wherever applicable
- Experience with tax research software tools, such as Checkpoint, or CCH
- Experience in Preparing State tax returns
