Job Summary
Develop and own the Project Risk Management Plan for offshore wind projects, facilitating workshops across all packages to maintain a live risk register in Oracle Primavera Cloud. Execute Quantitative Schedule and Cost Risk Analysis using Monte Carlo simulations to determine contingency reserves, mapping risks directly to Primavera P6 schedules. Partner with Package Managers and Engineering Leads to develop mitigation actions, evaluate commercial viability, and assess supply chain risk profiles during tender evaluation. Design risk dashboards for steering committees and conduct post-installation lessons learned reviews to improve future probability models. This role supports mega-projects from FID through offshore execution phases, requiring expert-level OPC proficiency and fluency in English.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Construction/Project Management, or a highly analytical field
- 7+ years of project risk management experience
- 3-5 years specifically in Offshore Wind or major Offshore Oil & Gas EPCI projects
- Proven track record of supporting mega-projects through FID and offshore execution phases
- Expert-level proficiency in the OPC Risk Management module (building models, running Monte Carlo simulations, and generating outputs)
- Strong working knowledge to navigate, validate, and troubleshoot P6 schedules for QSRA
- In-depth understanding of offshore wind risk profiles (marine warranty surveyor constraints, heavy lift vessels, weather window modelling) and standard risk frameworks (ISO 31000, PMI-RM, PMBOK)
- Exceptional workshop facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to challenge senior stakeholders and translate complex statistical data into commercial narratives
- Fluency in English
