Job Summary
Design and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to collect, process, and store data from various sources while implementing integration solutions for seamless data flow. Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand requirements, optimize existing workflows for performance, and ensure data quality through validation and monitoring. Develop documentation for pipelines and architectures, troubleshoot data-related issues promptly, and stay updated on industry trends to implement relevant improvements. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of experience in data engineering, and proficiency in SQL, Python, or Java.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or a related role
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
- Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Luigi)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services
- Knowledge of data modeling, ETL concepts, and data warehousing best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
