Job Summary
Senior Associate, Public Affairs & Market Development focused on regulatory engagement with the Central Bank of Ireland and Irish authorities, shaping Lloyd’s Europe’s engagement with Ireland and the wider European market. Supports regulatory change projects, monitoring policy developments, and coordinating communications on regulatory developments. Works with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, industry bodies, insurers and brokers, to advocate for sustained or improved access to the Irish market. Contributes to regional regulatory initiatives and horizon scanning, leveraging Ireland’s connections with the London market to strengthen Lloyd’s voice in Europe.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working in or alongside regulatory, compliance, policy or supervisory environments.
- Knowledge of Ireland’s insurance regulatory environment and how it works in practice.
- Understanding of EU policymaking and, ideally, EU insurance or financial services regulation.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and confidence building relationships with credibility and integrity.
- Clear, persuasive communication skills, including the ability to present ideas simply and effectively.
