Job Summary
Senior Associate in Portfolio Valuation at KPMG will assist with preparing valuations for illiquid equity and/or debt investments, interact with hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, and LPs on valuation of investments, build and update financial models (DCF, leveraged buyout, trading and transaction comparables, allocation models), analyze financial and economic data across funds and markets, and prepare valuation reports and presentations using tools such as Bloomberg and Capital IQ; role emphasizes integrity, professionalism, and contribution to a collaborative team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum two years of valuation experience in areas such as investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, valuation, financial statement analysis, quantitative analysis, econometrics, fixed income, or capital markets
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in finance, accounting, economics, or business
- Advanced finance, financial modeling, accounting, and analytical abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work in a team and independently
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future; no sponsorship expected for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT/CPT or any other employment-based visa
