Senior Associate, Portfolio Operations (Private Markets)

Job Summary
Conduct daily IBOR reconciliation standups with onshore and offshore teams across Credit and Evergreen products, resolving breaks to meet production timelines. Coordinate trade capture processes with external fund administrators and perform daily and monthly investment data reconciliations. Research data exceptions to enhance IBOR capabilities with the Investment Data Operations team and oversee third-party administrator relationships. Partner with Credit, Evergreen, and Technology teams to improve data reporting tools, automation, and operational workflows. This role supports HarbourVest's Private Markets teams in managing portfolio operations and data integrity.
Required Qualifications
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing requests
- Solid understanding of credit markets, terms, and data requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with keen attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision
- Technical proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- 5-7+ Years of private markets, portfolio operations and analytics experience
Desired Qualifications
- Technical proficiency in Power BI
- Technical proficiency in Snowflake
- Experience with Allvue
- Experience with eFront
- Bachelor of Arts (B.A) degree
- Bachelor of Science (B.S) credential
