Job Summary
Own the onboarding experience for new hires by sending communications, hosting calls, scheduling meetings, coordinating staff buddies, and training hiring managers. Use AI tools to draft onboarding materials and manage candidate correspondence, then support open searches including posting positions, scheduling interviews, conducting screenings, and processing offers. Coordinate monthly All-Staff Meetings, plan the All-Repair Gathering, source vendors for staff gifts, and manage the annual engagement survey and stay/exit interview data. Provide guidance on professional development plans, share opportunities, run training sessions, and manage the funds request process. Run annual and off-cycle goal setting and performance reviews, hold staff accountable to deadlines, and generate quarterly time-off reports. Maintain HR systems and records, manage internal communications, and pull data for People & Culture initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of professional experience in human resources, people operations, talent or a related coordination role
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Strong written and verbal communications
- Experience with, or the ability to quickly learn, people systems such as an HRIS/PEO (e.g., Insperity), applicant tracking (e.g., Breezy), and performance management tools (e.g., Small Improvements), along with organizational tools like Slack, Google Workspace and Monday.com
