Job Summary
Contribute to research and thought leadership on inclusive capitalism, including work on inclusive financing models and next-generation managers. Deepen engagement with institutional investors and market participants while supporting key ICAP programs like the HBCU Strategic Initiative and Fellowship Program. Coordinate fellow recruitment and logistics, track progress and outcomes, and manage event execution for roundtables and stakeholder engagements. Develop written collateral such as insight articles and impact assessments to communicate program results. Provide core operational support across the team, including project management and workflow improvements. This role offers hands-on experience in program management, stakeholder engagement, and impact assessment within the Pathways to Capital portfolio.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 2-5 years of professional working experience
- Positive personal attitude that includes being proactive, entrepreneurial, detail-oriented, impact-driven, accountable, flexible, with a willingness to adapt to changing situations
- Comfortable taking ownership, leading, and reporting out on projects
- Excellent writing, editing, and analytical skills
- Effective communicator, both oral and written
- Willingness and ability to travel
- Ability to work across time zones
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work in a professional office environment
- Hybrid schedule consisting of three (3) days per week reporting in-person
- Remaining two (2) days working remotely
- Domestic travel
- Interacting virtually on a regular basis with Milken Institute staff based in other locations in the United States and around the world
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Being authorized to work in the U.S.
