Senior Associate, Operations Transformation Automation

Job Summary
Identify, design, and automate repetitive operational processes to reduce manual effort across critical systems. Develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks supporting operational checks, system monitoring, and testing activities. Implement proactive monitoring solutions to ensure system stability, detect anomalies, and trigger timely alerts. Collaborate with multi-functional teams to integrate automation into existing platforms and workflows. Embed AI capabilities into automation frameworks to enhance decisioning and efficiency. Own and lead implementation activities across automation and operational initiatives, ensuring high-quality, timely delivery. Support system upgrades, releases, and critical changes, ensuring automation solutions are tested and remain effective post-change. Deliver urgent and ad hoc development changes in response to operational priorities. This role operates on the Standard UK Shift (12:30 PM to 9:30 PM Sri Lankan Time) with a hybrid workstyle of three days in the office.
Required Qualifications
- 4-5 years' experience in Automation Engineering, Operational Engineering, or RPA development
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- Experience using automation tools and RPA platforms
- Familiarity with monitoring platforms such as Datadog and Control-M
- Experience working with Microsoft Power Platform and modern web technologies
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control, and modern development practices
- Strong communication, collaborator management, and organisational capabilities
- Automation & RPA: Leapwork, UiPath, Power Automate
- Programming & Scripting: Python, JavaScript, HTML, JSON
- Monitoring & Observability: Datadog, Control-M, Corvil
- DevOps & CI/CD: GitLab, Bitbucket, Jenkins
- Data & Analytics: SQL, Elastic (KQL), Power BI
- Cloud Technologies: AWS (Lambda, EC2, S3)
- Microsoft Power Platform and Office 365
- ServiceNow, Agile methodologies, sprint delivery, and project management
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence across teams and levels
- Excellent prioritisation and organisational abilities, managing multiple concurrent tasks effectively
- Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-sufficient and proactive, while contributing as a strong team player
- A strong sense of professionalism and confidentiality with good attention to detail
- Adaptable and resilient, with a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement
- Must be able to work on the Standard UK Shift - 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM (Sri Lankan Time)
