Job Summary
Advise clients on day-to-day HR issues, disciplinaries, grievances, and disputes while managing employment matters end-to-end. Draft and review contracts, policies, settlement agreements, and handbooks, and support ACAS early conciliation and employment strategies. Handle contentious work by managing Employment Tribunal cases from start to finish, drafting claims and responses, preparing witness statements, and briefing counsel for hearings. Deliver training and thought leadership to clients and colleagues, support business development initiatives, and supervise junior team members. Qualified solicitor or barrister with strong drafting and analytical skills to join a Fortune 500 group's Legal 500-recognised team.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience across both contentious and non-contentious employment law
- Qualified solicitor or barrister (UK) with a current practising certificate
- Excellent drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Commercial awareness and a client-first mindset
- Experience supervising or mentoring others (or readiness to step into this)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively
