Job Summary
Lead teams and collaborate with clients across industries to deliver strategic operating model reviews and operational performance improvement solutions. Identify revenue and cost optimization opportunities, translate findings into business cases, and design future-state operating models aligned with organizational strategy. Develop implementation roadmaps, establish governance mechanisms, and monitor benefits realization while contributing to business development proposals and practice initiatives. Structure ambiguous problems into actionable recommendations and coach junior staff within collaborative, high-performing teams.
Required Qualifications
- Experience within a Tier 1, mid-tier or boutique consulting practice in organisational strategy, financial advisory, or transformation roles
- Experience in strategy, target operating model design and financial performance improvement projects
- Ability to structure ambiguous problems into clear hypotheses, rigorous analysis and actionable recommendations
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and manage senior client relationships
- Strong financial analysis and business case modelling skills, including experience assessing revenue, cost and productivity opportunities
- Experience assessing and redesigning operating models, covering organisation structure, processes, governance, and service delivery
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate insights into compelling executive narratives that influence critical decisions
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous, and change-driven environments
- Experience developing proposals and business development initiatives, identifying new engagement opportunities, nurturing client relationships and thought leadership pieces
- Ability to coach and develop more junior staff
- Confirmation of a valid Commonwealth security clearance or the ability to obtain a Commonwealth security clearance
