Job Summary
Senior Associate to join KPMG’s International Tax practice. Responsibilities include directing multinational enterprises on business decisions such as where to locate and operate, entity choice, and optimizing supply chains; advising on global tax planning decisions considering risk profiles, global effective tax rate, and cash posture; structuring tax aspects of private equity and M&A activity, drafting tax opinions and Excel models; assisting with tax provisions and compliance, and supporting audit teams; advising on inbound/outbound cross-border treaty planning; serving alternative investment clients across the investment life cycle with both US and non-US teams.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of experience in international, mergers and acquisitions, and/or federal tax planning
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
- Knowledge of a broad range of international and domestic tax law provisions
- Strong research and writing, Excel modeling, and oral communication skills
- Ability to balance and lead multiple engagements, supervise and assist with development and training of staff professionals
- Ability to deepen client relationships and expand the KPMG footprint in local and global markets
