Senior Associate, International Tax

Job Summary
Direct multinational enterprises on business decisions such as location and operation choices, entity structure, and capital access within a global tax framework; advise on cross-border tax planning, model and review complex tax scenarios, and collaborate with Mergers & Acquisitions Tax teams to structure tax aspects of private equity deals, joint ventures, dispositions, and IPOs; assist with preparing the tax provision and supporting compliance work, and advise on inbound/outbound treaty planning for global investments and trading activities; support alternative investment clients and global operations with tax considerations and client-relations growth.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of three years of experience working on engagements involving international, mergers and acquisitions, and/or federal tax planning
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; Masters in Taxation, JD, and/or LLM (with a concentration in tax) preferred
- Knowledge of a broad range of international and domestic tax law provisions
- Strong research and writing, Excel modeling, and oral communication skills
- Ability to balance and lead multiple engagements, supervise and assist with the development and training of staff professionals, and provide excellent client service
- Ability to develop and deepen client relationships and expand the firm's footprint in local and global markets while working with US and non-US teams
