Job Summary
Senior Associate in Insurance Litigation at Clyde & Co, focusing on insurance defense and coverage with responsibilities including legal analysis, drafting pleadings and briefs, conducting discoveries and mediations, and advocating in court; requires license to practice law in Alberta or another Canadian province, 5+ years in commercial litigation/insurance law, strong legal writing, client relationship development, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team; hybrid work arrangement with at least two days in the Calgary office, and opportunities for global mobility, mentorship, and career development.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a recognized University / Common Law School with a license to practice law in the Province of Alberta or another Canadian Province as a member in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta or another Provincial Law Society
- 5+ years of relevant experience in private practice or in-house legal practice, with a focus on commercial litigation and insurance law
