Job Summary
Senior Instrumentation Engineer responsible for installation, maintenance and calibration of analytical instruments (HPLC, GCs, LC-MS/MS) in Apotex Research, ensuring GMP/GLP compliance. Maintain instrument documentation and calibration schedules, generate and revise instrument-related SOPs, assist with software validations, manage vendor coordination for maintenance and AMC contracts, and ensure safe, compliant operation as part of a collaborative team. Requires minimum BE/B.Tech or MSc in Instrumentation with 2–4 years of instrumentation experience in AR&D/biotech QC labs and familiarity with GMP/GLP/GCP and 21 CFR Part 11.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum BE / B.Tech / M.Sc. Instrumentation
- 2 to 4 years of experience in Instrumentation of AR&D, Bioanalytical lab, QC labs
- Experience with analytical laboratory equipment like HPLC, LC/MS/MS, GCs for trouble shooting, repairs, calibrations, qualifications
- Fundamental understanding of GMP, GLP, GCP, 21 CFR Part 11 guidelines
- Computer skills in laboratory data acquisition software, spreadsheets and word processing
