Job Summary
Senior Associate, Infrastructure Project Advisory leads construction contract reviews, compliance audits, and project oversight for large capital projects within KPMG's Infrastructure and Projects Advisory practice. responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing construction management processes and internal controls; defining and implementing recommendations for construction management policies, procedures, and reporting; conducting project reviews to evaluate progress, change orders and claims, and schedule delays; coordinating field work, data collection, analysis, and preparation of narrative reports and presentations; collaborating with cross-functional teams under Managers, Directors, and Partners; traveling as needed and maintaining integrity and professional standards. The role requires 3+ years of relevant field construction management or advisory experience, a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), and professional certifications preferred; ability to travel; U.S. work authorization.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum three years of experience in field construction management or construction advisory services with increasing roles and responsibilities in large capital projects for public and private clients
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
- Professional Engineer, Project Management, Certified Construction Manager, Certified Public Accountant, AIA or other professional certification preferred
- Knowledge of planning, work breakdown structures, pre-construction services, sourcing and procurement of contracts, contract administration, scheduling, cost estimating, quality management, project reporting, and project closeout
- Field construction experience on different project types and public or private clients; experience with project management information systems and other toolsets
- Excellent written and verbal communication, documentation, records retention, and work paper organization
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future (no sponsorship available)
