Job Summary
Senior Associate, Infrastructure Project Advisory at KPMG focuses on improving construction management processes and internal controls, leading construction contract reviews and oversight on large capital projects, and developing and implementing policy and process improvements. The role involves field work with data collection and analysis, preparing narrative reports and presentations of observations and recommendations, collaborating with diverse teams under management guidance, and traveling as needed. The position requires experience in field construction management or advisory services, a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), professional certifications (engineer/CM/CPA/AIA or equivalents), knowledge across planning to closeout, familiarity with PMIS/tools, and the ability to work legally in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum three years of recent experience in field construction management or construction advisory services with increasing roles and responsibilities in a variety of large capital project types for both public and private clients
- Bachelor's degree is required; Master's degree is preferred in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, Construction Management, Accounting, or related field
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future (no sponsorship)
- Knowledge in planning, work breakdown structures, pre-construction services, sourcing and procurement of contracts, contract administration, scheduling, cost estimating, quality management, project reporting, and closeout
- Experience with project management information systems and other toolsets
- Excellent written and verbal communication, documentation, records retention, and work paper organizational skills
