Job Summary
Senior Associate Indirect Tax in PwC's Public Interest Entities team (ITX PIE) in Amsterdam. You will work on VAT issues for international clients, optimizing international VAT positions and cross-border supply chains, drafting objection letters, and engaging with Tax Authorities. You collaborate with colleagues across tax disciplines and may specialize in a region (e.g., US/Asia) or sector. Key duties include solving complex VAT issues, advising multinational clients across sectors (technology, pharma, agrifood, consumables, energy & utilities), leveraging technology to increase efficiency (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI), and contributing to ESG-related topics. You will interact with clients and colleagues globally, and there is a pathway for growth within PwC's global network. Requirements include a university degree in Tax Law or Tax Economics, minimum 2 years of VAT experience, strong analytical abilities, proficiency with Alteryx and Power BI, and fluency in Dutch and/or English. Required Qualifications
- A completed university degree in Tax Law or Tax Economics
- At least 2 years of relevant VAT work experience
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new technological solutions
- A good command of the Dutch and/or English language
