Job Summary
Analyze complex indirect tax issues and develop strategic solutions for client engagements, focusing on customs regulations and tax dispute resolution. Conduct tax research to support compliance and planning while interpreting tariffs and valuation for accurate modeling. Collaborate with teams to enhance corporate tax planning strategies and guide junior members through VAT controversies. Build meaningful client relationships to address accounting needs and leverage technology to optimize VAT returns. Confirm documentation accuracy and validate customs brokerage activities. Requires CPA exam eligibility and English proficiency; located in PwC Acceleration Center Mexico.
Required Qualifications
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 2 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English
- Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials
- Demonstrating proficiency in Indirect Tax and VAT Compliance
- Utilizing analytical thinking to solve complex tax issues
- Excelling in international taxation and customs regulations
- Leveraging tax technology for efficient tax preparation
- Engaging in tax dispute resolution and litigation
