Job Summary
Direct health services units in hotels by managing clinical care, case management, workplace safety, and benefit administration. Conduct thorough assessments of associates' status, implement cost-efficient treatment plans, and partner with claims services for early return-to-work programs. Evaluate accident reports and perform risk assessments to ensure regulatory compliance with state and federal health and safety standards. Serve as an advisor on accident prevention and safety committees while developing budgets and overseeing disability management. Plan and implement health promotion programs, maintain accurate medical records, and prepare quarterly activity reports for senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum five years' experience as an occupational health nurse in an autonomous setting
- In-depth knowledge and recent experience in Worker's compensation state regulations and case management
- In-depth knowledge and recent experience in primary clinical care
- In-depth knowledge and recent experience in state and federal health and safety regulations
- In-depth knowledge and recent experience in local community resources for health care
- In-depth knowledge and recent experience in safety awareness and prevention activities
- In-depth knowledge and recent experience in health promotion program implementation
- In-depth knowledge and recent experience in administration of benefits for health related functions (FMLA, ADA, STD, LTD, EAP, ARL)
- In-depth knowledge and recent experience in maintaining a medical records system
- In-depth knowledge and recent experience in budget responsibilities
- Licensed Registered Nurse in state of hire
- Maintains continuing educational credits according to state licensure requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or related field
- Certified Occupational Health Nurse certification
- Certification in related field
