Job Summary
Senior Associate, Fund Finance role supporting the Fund Financing Credit Operations, Exposure and Collateral monitoring: reviewing/approving loan drawdowns and FX trades for timely execution; liaising with risk/compliance/treasury/client service to complete financing requests; post-execution filing/maintenance of Finance Legal Documentation; preparing/reviewing financing facility requests and renewals; reviewing hedge fund FX hedging for compliance; monitoring risk classifications and completing credit facility fee calculations; issuing margin statements for Passive Currency Overlay clients and following up on late FX settlements; proactive tracking of credit exposure and escalation of issues; contributing to department projects to ensure timely deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- An University degree or Diploma in Banking/Finance or related area
- At least 3 years of work experience in a fund finance or corporate lending division managing commercial relationships
- Experience and/or strong understanding of alternative fund financing (including NAV and capital call facilities)
- Experience with derivative legal documentation such as, ISDA/CSA would be considered an asset
- Strong financial modeling skills would be considered an asset
