Senior Associate, Financial Planning & Analysis

Job Summary

Support the VP and FP&A team in partnering with fund accounting, corporate accounting, divisional CFOs, and senior investment professionals. Prepare periodic financial reporting, manage AUM metrics, and create databases to support enterprise projects. Develop financial models for strategic decisions, dive into data for insights, and present analysis that frames business decisions. Collaborate on metrics, goals, and business reviews while researching variances to forecast, budget, and expenses. Optimize consolidation, reporting, and dashboard/analytics software systems to ensure value-added financial tools are utilized effectively.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in investment management firms
  • expertise in Investment Operations and Asset Servicing related functions
  • Basic understanding of Income Statements, Balance Sheets and Cost Center functionality
  • Expert analytical, data management and financial modeling skills
  • Familiarity with financial planning applications (Oracle, Hyperion, OneStream, Power BI, Anaplan, etc.)
  • Technically proficient with all MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience building, maintaining, or working with relationship, hierarchical, SQL or Access databases
  • Hedge fund, Credit or Private Equity fund experience

  • Ability to extract meaningful information from extensive research and analysis to effectively present facts and findings in a digestible format

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or other business-related discipline
