Senior Associate, Financial Control

Support the Senior Manager, Financial Control and the wider Financial Control team in delivering effective financial control across the business, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial information. Drive high-quality execution of the Record to Report (R2R) process and maintain the integrity of financial results. Independently manage month-end activities, prepare and post complex journal entries (e.g., accruals, lease liabilities), and explain movements within GL codes. Lead assigned areas to ensure timely month-end close, review BU P&L and BS reporting, maintain balance sheet governance, and resolve reconciling items. Lead small projects to strengthen financial governance of R2R processes, identify opportunities to streamline workflows and automate tasks, and support the implementation of new systems or reporting enhancements. Act as a point of contact for technical finance queries and provide guidance. Collaborate with business units to provide insights from P&L data, organize finance policies/processes, and report deadlines and compliance to senior management. Provide updates on technical accounting changes under FRS 102 and IFRS, and contribute to process improvements and cross-functional collaboration. This role is based in Woking, England with hybrid working arrangements.
