Senior Associate - EU Public Affairs, Energy

Job Summary
Provide analysis, strategic recommendations, and implement client projects regarding EU energy policy, sustainability, and the European Green Deal. Produce written materials including policy papers, press releases, and monitoring bulletins while reviewing junior colleagues' work. Design strategic plans and execute advocacy programmes and campaigns on behalf of clients, coordinating team efforts and anticipating potential problems. Anticipate client needs by linking external developments to their business interests and take ownership of deliverables to ensure objectives are reached.
Required Qualifications
- University degree or equivalent
- 2-5 years of relevant professional experience in European Affairs
- Strong expertise in and passion for EU energy policy, including areas such as electricity and gas markets, renewable energy, energy efficiency, grid infrastructure, energy security, decarbonisation and the implementation of the European Green Deal
- In-depth knowledge of the EU institutions and decision-making
- Excellent English
- Good knowledge of at least one other EU language
