Job Summary
Conduct analysis, draft policy papers, and execute advocacy campaigns on behalf of clients to navigate political and policy challenges in EU energy sectors. Design strategic plans, produce monitoring bulletins, and review junior colleagues' work while anticipating client needs and linking external developments to business interests. Take ownership of deliverables and coordinate project delivery for clients focused on sustainability, electricity markets, and decarbonization. Join a Brussels-based team shaping narratives on the European Green Deal and energy security.
Required Qualifications
- University degree or equivalent
- 2-5 years of relevant professional experience in European Affairs
- Strong expertise in and passion for EU energy policy, including areas such as electricity and gas markets, renewable energy, energy efficiency, grid infrastructure, energy security, decarbonisation and the implementation of the European Green Deal
- In-depth knowledge of the EU institutions and decision-making
- Excellent English
- Good knowledge of at least one other EU language
