Job Summary
Develop comprehensive project development, compliance, transactional, and strategic advice for government and private clients across energy, renewable energy, mining, transport, water, and urban development sectors. Provide pragmatic solutions to environmental, social, and land access challenges while managing regulatory approvals, heritage, and contaminated land matters for international, major Australian, and government clients. Work closely with Partner Heidi Asten on complex litigation, regulatory work, and public and private market transactions within the firm's leading Environment, Planning and Communities practice.
Required Qualifications
- An Australian or New Zealand practicing certificate
- demonstrated legal experience in land access and acquisition
- demonstrated legal experience in environment and planning
- demonstrated legal experience in regulatory approvals
- demonstrated legal experience in native title and/or indigenous cultural heritage
- A strong academic record
- excellent legal skills
